Call for Articles in a Section about the Knesset

To mark 70 years since the first Knesset Elections in 1949 (elections to the Constituent Assembly), Iyunim is dedicating a special section of articles dealing with the Knesset. We welcome manuscripts dealing with topics such as: The establishment of the Knesset; Significant political, social, economic and cultural debates over the years; Election campaigns; Structural processes that shaped it; Legislation; Political parties arena and the ongoing debates about Israel’s political structure, its constitution, the electoral system and other laws.

Scholars from various disciplines in social sciences and humanities are invited to submit articles (up to 12,000 words, including footnotes) or abstracts (up to 300 words), in Hebrew, no later than January 31, 2019.

Articles selected for publishing will be peer reviewed.
