The European Association of Israel Studies are proud to confirm that our 8th annual conference will be taking place at Charles University, Prague from 8-10 September 2019. The conference will be held in English.

The EAIS conference will be held at the Faculty of Arts, located in Prague Old Town.
The closest airport is Václav Havel Airport Prague.
The closest public transport stop is Staroměstská.
- The opening ceremony and reception on Sunday 8 September
- Lunch on Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 September
- Two coffee and tea breaks on both Monday and Tuesday

Prague Old Town has a number of good hotels, all within close distance of the conference. However, there are also a number of hotels outside of Prague 1 that are more reasonably priced, but may require a longer walk to the conference or the use of public transport.
