Network with other experts

Our events are the ideal opportunity to network with other Israel Studies experts whose academic, scholarly, and intellectual are the same as your own.

Keep track of upcoming EAIS events

Our programme of events continues to expand and we look forward to welcoming you at one of our exciting gatherings soon:

  • Our Annual Conference on Israel Studies brings together scholars from a variety of disciplines who are engaged in research relating to any aspect of Israel Studies, including Politics, Literature, History, Economics, Language, Culture, Music, Culture and Art.
  • Our Student Members’ Meeting, led by Dr Jacob Eriksson, our Student Membership Secretary, brings together current and prospective student members from across Europe and beyond to discuss what you would like to get out of the EAIS and how we can best support your development as researchers and scholars in Israel Studies. It usually coincides with our Annual Conference.
  • Our first Graduate Workshop in Israel Studies took place April 2016 at SOAS. The workshop was for graduate students whose doctoral dissertations engage with the study of Israel and wished to present aspects of their research and receive feedback from peers and a panel of established academics. The day-long workshop allowed students address methodological, theoretical, practical and ethical issues arising from the graduate-level study of Israel.
